I painted this last night on the ipad using the recently updated version of an app called Procreate. As of this writing it is without a doubt the most fully featured, functional and realistic drawing/sketching/painting app available for iOS. The speed of the app and fluidity of brushes are astonishing. If you have any interest in making art with the iPad, Procreate should be your next app purchase.

The only art I had that was large enough for the 3rd gen iPad’s screen was my convention banner. It works better in landscape than portrait, but it’s ok for quick and dirty. I’ll work up something original for the iPad 3 format soon. 

It is trying to get back to its master. It wants to be found.

Lar (@lartist) did this for me (to me?) in a dimly lit pub in New York around 2am. It was a Comic Con miracle.
